X-Flow’s hollow fiber ultrafiltration (UF) membranes, with a MWCO (Molecular Weight Cutt-off) of 150 to 200 kilodaltons (kDa), remove all fine silt, turbidity, bacteria and viruses, as well as chlorine-resistant organisms such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.

Water treatment
Ultrafiltration membrane productivity is high, while pressure differences remain low. X-Flow’s UF membrane technology is used to produce potable water and process water, and is used in the pre-treatment process of large seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plants.
X-Flow ultrafiltration membrane technology has proven to be an excellent large-scale treatment method for surface water, the effluent of wastewater treatment plants, and groundwater projects with suspended solids levels of up to 100 to 200 mg/L.
