Seaguard

The core of the Seaguard membrane technology is the hydrophilic hollow membrane, composed of a PES/PVP blend. The membranes’ high mechanical and chemical strength makes them extremely durable. The membrane modules are operated inside-out and the ideal choice in UF-RO pretreatment for sea water reversed osmosis systems (SWRO). By removing almost all suspended solids, Seaguard membrane modules protect downstream SWRO systems from fouling. Seaguard membranes are used in horizontally positioned pressure vessels, providing a high membrane area to footprint ratio.

The Seaguard membrane modules provide an effective barrier to suspended solids and silt.
The near total removal of suspended solids protects the

SWRO system from fouling, and the horizontal configuration of Seaguard skids offers a high membrane area to footprint ratio. With the modules inserted in GRP pressure vessels, Seaguard is the ideal solution for inline UF-RO operation.
