To ensure a safe and reliable supply of potable water, the City of Moscow added a large-scale drinking water plant almost a decade ago. 

With ultrafiltration (UF) technology at its core, the Drinking Water Plant South-West Moscow is the largest UF plant in Europe with a capacity of 250,000 m3 /d.
